In 2017, I had the pleasure of being apart of an amazing project being conducted in my school.

The Bronx – What About Us?, was a movement was launched in 2017 with the participation of 20 students from Pelham Prep Academy High School. As part of the initiative, the students produced a video titled Dear Mr. President, which was featured in local news outlets and a community newspaper. The video highlighted personal narratives from students about their experiences growing up in the Bronx and their perspectives on recent education budget cuts. The project concluded with a public video release event and an educational tour of Washington D.C.
